He honorably and proudly served in the United States Army and was an active member of the Fort Custer National Cemetery Honor Guard for many years. Carl also was a member of the Kellogg 25 Year Club. Carl was a simple man. He loved listening to country music, and cooking meals for his family.
Carl is survived by his Siblings, Joann (Robert) Raham, Sue (Tommy) Dobbs, JT (Diane) Hayes, Tom (Janet) Hayes, Don E. (Lynn) Hayes of Richland, MI, Jon (Sandy) Hayes, Sheila O'Pala, Jerry Hayes and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his Parents and Siblings, Charles Hayes, Eddy Hayes, Frances Graves, Ruth Hayes, Faye Newman.
A memorial service will take place at the Fort Custer National Cemetery on Tuesday, October 27, 2020 at 2:30 pm.
