Michael Keith Slater, 64, of West Peoria, passed away Friday, October 16, 2020 at his residence.
He was born April 14, 1956 in Gillett, AR, to Eunia Slater and Ernest Thompson.
His parents preceded him in death.
He is survived by his children, Mycole (Brandon) Slater, Terrance Slater Sr. and Darnell Slater; grandchildren, Jacob, Teasia, Bryson, Micah, Terrance Jr. and D’Mari and siblings, Brenda Marks and Jackie Marks.
Mike loved his family dearly. He worked as a pipefitter for Local 353 retiring in 1998. He was a hell of a welder. He was extremely kindhearted. Mike would give you the shirt off his back. He loved to travel.
Cremation has been accorded and private family services will be held.
