CONNIE JEAN (SCARBERRY) JACKSON, 63 years of age of Hurley, VA, passed away Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at the Rockcastle Regional Hospital following an extended illness. Born in Pike County, KY, she was the daughter of the late Ellis and Stella (Dotson) Scarberry. She was a lifelong resident of Buchanan County and was a member of Jackson Chapel Freewill Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, homemaker and caregiver.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 1-Brother: Donald Ray Scarberry; 1-Grandchild: Skylar Hawke Belcher; 1-Nephew: Farley Sargent II.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Bruce Wayne Jackson of Hurley, VA; Children: Lisa Marie Jackson (George Issac) Belcher of Hurley, VA, Kimberly Nichole Jackson (Miles) Belcher of Hurley, VA, David Wayne (Tiffany) Jackson of Hurley, VA; 6-Grandchildren: Gregory Ethan Belcher, Brayden Reed Belcher, Shaelynn Marie Belcher, Brianna Shae Belcher, Maddison Renne Belcher and Jenna Faye Jackson; 3-Sisters: Phyllis Ann (Farley) Sargent of Paw Paw, KY, Linda Sue (John) Justus of Hurley, VA, Kathy Lee (Jerry) Thacker of Pikeville, KY; 1-Brother: Christopher James Scarberry of Big Rock, VA.

Also, survived by several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Jackson Chapel Freewill Baptist Church Thursday and Friday at 6:00 P.M. with services at 7:00 P.M.

Funeral Services for CONNIE JEAN (SCARBERRY) JACKSON will be conducted Saturday, October 24, 2020 at 1:00 P.M. at the Jackson Chapel Freewill Baptist Church with Kenneth Jackson, Mike Jackson and Fred Stacy officiating with burial to follow in Mountain Valley Memorial Park, Big Rock, VA.

Active Pallbearers will be Miles Belcher, George Belcher, Greg Belcher, Zack Dotson, David Jackson and Christopher Scarberry.
