He was a 1937 graduate of Gilbert High School and later served as Staff Sgt. with the U.S. Army Air Corp.
In January 1949 he married Margaret Grebenc. Anthony owned and operated the Conoco Super Service in Aurora from 1955-1984. He also worked at the Lake and Corsica Mines as a truck driver. He was a Life Member of the Aurora American Legion Post 241.
He is preceded in death by his parents; wife Maggie; siblings Margie Fedora, Dolores Hiti, Mary Ann Vukelich and Joan LaKosky.
Toony is survived by his children: Tony Jr. "Fred" Ahlin, Susan (Jack) Babcock, Dennis (Donna) Ahlin, Joe (Anita Skenzich) Ahlin and Paula (Bryce) Wiskow; grandchildren: Todd Babcock, Amy Babcock, Whitney Strukel, Ben Ahlin, Bob Skenzich, Jacey, Ashlin and CJ Wiskow; five great grandchildren; sisters: Gen Laskowski and Rosie Kozel; brother, Michael Ahlins; and many nieces and nephews.
Burial will take place at the Lakeside Cemetery in Biwabik, Minn.
