Springfield, OH - Anthony DeMarco Hale Sr., age 57 made his transition to his heavenly home on October 14, 2020 in Springfield, Ohio surrounded by his loving family and friends. He was born on February 8th, 1963, the son of Henry E. Kelley and Gloria J. Boyd both of whom preceded him in death.

Tony attended Benjamin Bosse High School in Evansville, Indiana and remained a resident of Evansville until relocating to Dayton, Ohio. He attended Liberty Missionary Baptist Church, and later joined Bethsaida Missionary Baptist Church in Dayton, Ohio. Tony was an employee of both Rumpke of Ohio, Inc. and Acme Electric Co. in Springfield, OH. Tony was a meek man who was kind, and very caring. He was extremely funny and was always a joy to be around. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, wrestling and was an excellent cook.

Tony leaves to cherish his memory Wife: Lonjenna of Dayton, OH; Children: Talitha (Cornell), Antoino, Anthony, Larry, Shayla of Mississippi, Akeisha and Tony of Dayton; 19 grandchildren; Siblings: LaVoda Hawes (Byron), Russell Mooney and Toshaneke Mooney-Obajowo (Adebayo Christopher) of Indianapolis, IN; Parents: Homer Hale (Brenda) and Willie Mooney (Joann) and a host of loving aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services are 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 24, 2020 at R. Mason Brothers Memorial Chapel with visitation from 9:00 a.m. until service. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. A mask is required for all services. Published in Courier Press from Oct. 20 to Oct. 22, 2020.
