Mrs. Sheila Elaine Chatman Jackson age 68 was called home to be with The Good Lord on October 20, 2020 while at home surrounded by her loved ones.

She was born on January 16, 1952 to the late William Chatman and Bertha Swanger Chatman; her husband, Charles Jackson; brother and sister in law, Willie “Frank” Chatman and Iveline Chatman; daughter, Wanda Bell.

She is survived by her loving children, Amanda Morton and her husband, (Donnie) Morton, Matthew Rosenthal and his wife (Melanie) Rosenthal, Mark Rosenthal and his wife (Christie) Rosenthal, Joseph Williams and his wife (Andriena) Williams; grandchildren, Taylor Kirkland and his wife (Katlyn), Chris Gable, Sara Gable, Shannon Williams, Aaron Rosenthal, Noah Rosenthal, Brandon Rosenthal, Daisy Rosenthal, Nathaniel “Nate” Rosenthal, DJ Littleton, William “Bill” and Jessica Bell, Bryce Blankenship, Cady Morris, Clayton Morris, Ashley Loy, Rebecca Williams, Christy Williams, Joshua Williams, Michael Williams; great grandchildren, Harleigh Morris, Ezra Salzman, Tanner Kraven, and her most favorite person in the whole world, her great grandchild Evelyn “Gracie” Kirkland; siblings, Huel and (Lucille) Chatman, Jimmy “Marvin” and (Anne) Chatman, William and (Cathy) Chatman, James “Jim” Acre, and Robert “Bob” and his wife (Sarah) Acre; her special friends, Audrey and Kimberly Johnson-Burnett, John Kirkland, Eugene and Patricia Dabbs: her best friend, Jessie “Mama Jessie” Morton; several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and great nephews.

Sheila was a beloved mother who dedicated her entire life to her children. To her, the most important things in life were the ones you leave behind.

Sheila was allergic to flowers, and while she loved plants, she would not have wanted any fragrant flowers. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to her favorite charity, St. Jude.
