Edward K. Good,Jr. known as E.K. Good, married Ann Margaret Eckley in 1887. The first two children, Kate and Wilson, were born in Boggs township; Lula, Raymond, Malvin, and Hayes were born in Wallaceton. In the 1920's Lula (Good) Shaw and others called E.K. and Margaret Good, Dad & Mom Hall. The boys were called Wils Hall, Giz Hall, Doll Hall, and Barney Hall. even so, names were written as "Good". The story was told that the grandfather Edward Good was raised by a Hall family, and he went by Hall at one time; that Good was the correct family name. By the 1930's the names heard were Wils Good, Malvin Good, Barney Good, and E.K. Good. (information via e-mail from Melvin Bock)

Golden Wedding Anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. E. K. Good Celebrated
Mr. and Mrs. E. K. Good, of Wallaceton, celebrated their golden wedding anniversary on Thursday evening, February 11, by entertaining their family and a large group of their friends at their home.
The original wedding ceremony was reenacted with the Rev, J.A. Hoover officiating.
Mr. and Mrs. Good were attended by Mr. and Mrs. W. D. Little . The bride's bouquet was yellow daffodils, a gift from Rev, and Mrs Hoover.
The evening was most enjoyable to all present. Mr. and Mrs. Good received many gifts, among them two wedding cakes, gifts of Mr. and Mrs W. D. Little and Mr. and Mrs, James Smeal.
The following were present : Mr. and Mrs E.K. Good, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Hamer and family, Durward, Ardell and Harold, Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Emigh and Patty; Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Knepp and Harold; Mr and Mrs. Harry Hamer, Jr., Mr. and Mrs. Wilson Good and family, Francis, Louise and Albert; Mr. and Mrs. James Shaw and family, Lois, Edna, Bruce and Marshall. Mr and Mrs. Malvin Good and family, Robert, Barbara, Edward and Monta; Mr. and Mrs. Hays Good and family, Francis and Mary; Duane Good, Geo. Johnson and Harry Gillman, Rev. J.A. Hoover; Mr. and Mrs. D.W. Bally and son, Donald; Mr. and Mrs. William Hynd, Mr. and Mrs.Reginal Stevens, Mr. and Mrs. O.M. Out of town guests were Mr. and Mrs. Harold Woolridge and daughter Maragret of Clearfield, Mr. and Mrs. George Eckley, Mr. and Mrs.James Eckly of Hyde City, Mr. and Mrs. James Smeal of Bigler, Mr. and Mrs. Axel Swanson of Lanse, William Holt of Kylertown, Mr. and Mrs. Pat Lorigan, son Jon, Chet Barnett and Pat Sullivan of Sandy Ridge, Mr. and Mrs. W. D. Little, Mr, and Mrs. James Eckley, Mrs Edna Stonebreaker and daughter Ethel of West Decatur. (My dad, Robert, was missing :-( )
