MARILYN JEAN HOOVER
Marilyn Jean Hoover, age 83, longtime Coupeville resident, passed away at Careage on Whidbey on Monday, July 7, 2014.
Marilyn was born in Wellington, Kansas, on December 14, 1930, to Marion and Gladys Irene (Lipperd) Stinson. She lived in Enumclaw for a time before moving to Coupeville in 1982.
Marilyn is survived by her four children: Paul Wayne Hoover and wife Tamie and Dennis Hoover, both of Auburn; Deanna Schulz and husband Rick of Oak Harbor and Jean Hann and husband Ed of San Marcos, CA; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; one brother, Donald Stinson and wife Pearl; also, numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one grandson and seven siblings.
No services will be held. Burial will be at Sunnyside Cemetery in Coupeville. Family and friends are encouraged to share memories and condolences at www.whidbeymemorial.com.
