Herman Watson Stanley, 89, passed away on Sunday, October 18, 2020. AUSMC veteran, Mr. Stanley retired as a project Manager for the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development.
Mr. Stanley was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Jackson Stanley and Lottie M. Booth Stanley; his wife, Evelyn Stanley; brother’s Steve Stanley and Harold Stanley. Survivors include 2 son's, Stacy Stanley and Michael Stanley; 3 daughter's, Mona Carpenter, Melinda Makris and Cathy Sweeney; 7 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Thomas Stanley, Jr. and Sidney Stanley.
A visitation will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 pm at Parklawn Wood Funeral Home chapel on Friday, October 23, 2020; A celebration of life will follow at 3:00 pm with interment immediately afterwards at Parklawn Memorial Park.
