Born Oct. 13, 1955, in Plymouth, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Irene Polomchak Gerzarowski.
Becca was a graduate of Wyoming Valley West High School, Class of 1973, and Luzerne County Community College. She also attended King's College, Wilkes-Barre. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Church, Larksville.
She was employed by the Wyoming Valley West School District at the high school in Plymouth.
Her greatest joys in life were her husband, Dave, and children, Matthew and Angela. Becca's home was always the gathering place for family and friends. Everyone enjoyed her sense of humor and knew her as a very caring and giving person.
She is survived by her loving husband of 31 years, David J. Jacobs; son, Matthew; daughter, Angela; brother, Thomas Gerzarowski and his wife, Carolyn, Tunkhannock; sister, Sandra Gerzarowski, Allentown; twin sister, Roberta Gerzarowski, Larksville; and sister-in-law, Cheryl Vasilakos, Berwick.
Becca's family would like to thank friends, neighbors and co-workers who were so thoughtful during her illness. They would like to especially thank her physicians, Dr. John Kish, Dr. Bruce Saidman and Dr. Richard Abramowitz, for their care and kindness.
The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Monday from S.J. Grontkowski Funeral Home, 530 W. Main St., Plymouth, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. in St. John the Baptist Church, Larksville.
Interment will be in Ss. Peter and Paul U.C. Cemetery, Plymouth Township.
Family and friends may call from 1 to 3 and 5 to 7:30 p.m. Sunday.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Prescription Assistant Fund at Medical Oncology Associates, 382 Pierce St., Kingston PA 18704.
