Lawrence Patrick, Jr., age 88, of Tecumseh, passed away October 20, 2020, at the Hospice of Lenawee Home. Lawrence was born April 3, 1932 in Salyersville, Kentucky the son of Lawrence and Clara (Collins) Patrick, Sr. On August 4, 1956 he married Nevon Craft in Salyersville, Ky. and she survives. Lawrence served his county in the United States Army during the Korean War. He retired after 39 years of service from Clauss Cutlery in Fremont, Ohio. After his retirement he started his second career as a wood craftsman. Lawrence was a member of Tecumseh Missionary Baptist Church and served as their Sunday morning greeter. In addition to his wife, Nevon, Lawrence is survived by his daughter, Larna (Jeffrey) Welch; granddaughters, Amanda (David) Froman and Jessica (Drew) Hauber; great grandchildren, Cooper, Grayson, Zeke and Poppy; sister, Anna Lou Penix and brother, Bill Patrick. He was preceded in death by his parents and 3 brothers. Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Friday, October 23, 2020 at Tecumseh Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Brian Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Brookside cemetery with military honors provided by the Tecumseh American Legion and Tecumseh VFW.
