Arthur White Sr. was born on July 10, 1941, in Sumpter, South Carolina. He gained his heavenly wings on May 22, 2020. Arthur was born to the late Daniel Taylor Jr. and Anell Haynesworth.

He moved to Baltimore City as a teenager.

His commitment and work ethic resulted in twenty years of service at Proctor and Gamble, ten years at Baltimore Spice, fifteen years at the Baltimore City Department of Transportation and also owning and operating a janitorial service.

Arthur was always known for giving advice and used his past experiences to help others overcome life difficulties. He was also known for talking to his family and friends about putting Christ first in their lives. Arthur read his Bible daily and his favorite Bible verse was John 8:12. Arthur began his walk with Christ at Bethel AME Church and was a member of Greater Hope Church of Christ In God at the time of his death.

Arthur met Idella Solomon in 1975. She was the apple of this eye and he loved her unconditionally. They were married for thirty-three years and had two children, Dion and Byron White.

Proceeding him in death are his father, Daniel Taylor, Jr. and his mother, Annell Haynesworth; two kids, Marjorie White and Arthur White, Jr; and one brother, Leroy Hayensworth.
