Betty J Carpenter passed peacefully in the early morning hours of October 17, 2020 at Bloomington Hospital with family members at her bedside. She was born on October 5, 1938.

She was survived in life by her husband, Art Carpenter, and children; Daughter, Carrie Richardson (Carpenter) family; Sons, Greg Reinhardt and family, Sonny Reinhardt and family, AJ Carpenter and family; Daughter, Candis Jordan (Reinhardt) and family and many "Adopted" children and family.

Our family decided to fulfill our mothers wish of not wanting memorial services as she wanted everyone who loved and cherished her to remember her as she was in life. Full of life, love, and compassion for all included her four-legged family members.

Knowing there are many of you who wanted to pay their last respects please do so by leaving your condolences on this page. Betty touched many people during her 82 years on this earth. Most were adolescents during her over 20 years of coaching junior bowlers and as a bus monitor, after retirement, for special needs children. Many of these children regarded Betty as their "adopted" mother and/or grandmother and became part of her family. All loved and cherished her. The world has lost a very kind and loving person. All who knew her will miss her.
