Funeral services for Felix C. Phillips were held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Miles Chapel with Rev. Donald Cummings and BPO Elks Lodge No. 1410 officiating. Burial was in the Elks plot of Pinal Cemetery.
Mr. Phillips died Sunday in Gila General Hospital. He was born in Hamilton County, Texas, March 10, 1877. From 1908 until 1938 when he retired, he was a rancher in Wheatfields. He then moved to Miami.
He is survived by his wife, Carmen M., two sons, T.A. Phillips of Phoenix, and K.H Phillips of Winslow; two sisters and three brothers of New Mexico, five grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
