Better known as "Buck" Lusk, son of Will Taylor Lusk (1888-1951) and Essie Louise McFarland (1893-1976)of Milan, Gibson County, TN. US Army Veteran of World War II, served in the Persian Gulf Command trucking war supplies from Iranian ports over the mountains to the Russian Army. He left Army service with the rank of Sergeant. Buck married Ada Eloise Warner of Richmond, VA 09 August 1945. Father of Jerry W. Lusk, Gene E. Lusk and Michael L. Lusk of Richmond, VA. Buck was a professional long distance truck driver who logged over a million miles of safe driving during his driving career which he began as a teenager in Tennessee. He worked for Brooks Transfer & Storage of Richmond, VA, RC Motor Lines of Jacksonville, Florida, out of the Richmond terminal and finally Eastern Express who bought out RC in the 1970's. He retired in November 1976 while driving for Eastern out of its Tampa, FL terminal, an assignment he took in 1972. Buck and Eloise returned to Richmond in 1987 to be near their grandchildren Brooks E. Lusk, Kara E. Lusk, and Ross E. Lusk, children of their son Gene and wife Rae Elliot. Buck became a widower with the death of Eloise in September 1991 while living with his sons Jerry and Mike in Jerry's Chesterfield county home. Buck died on 18 May 1997.
