Steve H. Brown, 75, of Alexandria, OH, formerly of Gilbert, WV, departed this life Sunday, October 18, 2020 from Pikeville Medical Center. Steve enjoyed fishing and digging ginseng; however, his main love was watching horse racing and spending time with his family and friends. Steve was a veteran of the U.S. Army and he was of the Christian Faith.
He was born on October 10, 1945 at Iaeger to Elma Hatfield-Brown and the late Chester Brown, Sr. (1925-2017). In addition to his father, he is also preceded in death by his sister, Lorna Sue Brown-Baker (1949-2019); brother, Rex Randall Brown (Deceased); sister-in-law, Rosemary Brown (Deceased); and nephew, Jeremy Keith Brown (Deceased).
In addition to his mother, those left to love and cherish his memory are his wife, Glenna Brown of Alexandria, OH; a son, Steven Brown of OH; brothers, Roland Brown & wife Sandy)Brown, Lonnie Brown & wife Sonja Brown, Aaron Brown, Chester Brown Jr. & wife Melanie Brown, all of Gilbert, and Darren Brown of Matewan; sisters, Lola Brown-Keen & husband Oscar Keen and Kristy Brown & husband James Brown, all of Gilbert; and a host of nieces, nephews and other dear relatives and friends.

Diamond Carter and Rev. Lowell Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Brown Family Cemetery, Browning Fork section of Gilbert, WV.
