J. M. "Dutch" Bloyed, 83, of Fayetteville, died Monday, July 23, 2007 at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale.

He was born November 27, 1923 in Fayetteville, the son of William Nelson and Ella Gilstrap Bloyed. He was preceded in death by his wife, Billie Rae Sweetser Bloyed, his parents, six brothers and five sisters.

He was a retired manager for Cal Gas and was an employee of Purdy's Grocery. He was a U. S. Army veteran of World War II in North Africa and in Italy from 1941-1945 in the 936th Field Artillery of Fayetteville. He was awarded four Bronze Stars and a Good Conduct Medal.

He is survived by: A daughter: Alma Lou Reynolds & her husband Doyle of Fayetteville
A son: Gilbert Bloyed & his wife Donna of Fayetteville
Two grandchildren: Travis Reynolds & his wife Joey
Deedee Haynes & her husband Ronald
Three great-grandchildren: T. J. and Jordan Haynes & Katie Reynolds
Two brothers: James Bloyed & his wife Ruth of Fayetteville
Jackie Bloyed of Siloam Springs
And a host of friends and family

Service: 9:00 am, Thursday, July 26 at Moore's Chapel
Officiating: Chaplain Chuck Bengtson
Burial: Baptist Ford Cemetery
Visitation: 5:00 – 7:00 pm Wednesday at Moore's Chapel

Pallbearers will be Travis Reynolds, Ronald Haynes, T. J. Haynes, Jordan Haynes, Mike Sweetser and Billy Sweetser.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Jon Andrews, Chad Andrews & Terry Andrews
