Louis David Martin, 67, of Beaumont, died Thursday, October 8, 2020 at Baptist Hospital of Southeast Texas in Beaumont.
A native and longtime resident of Beaumont, David was the grounds keeper with Spindletop MHMR Facility in Beaumont. David loved movies and music and was a happy sweet soul and was beloved by all that knew him.
David was preceded in death by Louis and Eugenia Martin, Carolyn and Charles Martin and Tina LaRive.
David is survived by his daughters, Shawn Ruff, Sandra Ruff, brothers and sisters, Danni Martin, James Martin, Lydia "Martin" Williams, Gayle "Martin" Severson, and other family members, Adam LaRive, Becky and Austin Fontenot, Rachel and Carlos Locondo, John LaRive, Christina and Chris Frye, Maycee Frye, Cambree Frye, and by many many more.
Graveside services will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 24, 2020 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park under the direction of Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Beaumont. A Gathering of Family and Friends will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 24, 2020 at the funeral home.
