ELKHART, IN. -- Mr. Steven E. Griffin, 66, of Elkhart, passed away peacefully at Elkhart General Hospital on Sunday, October 18, 2020 at 2:24 pm following an extended illness. He was born December 12, 1953 in Chicago, IL.

In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place and committal service has been scheduled for Monday, November 9, 2020 at 2:00 pm at Cedar Grove Cemetery at Notre Dame. Billings Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Elkhart has been assisting Howard with the arrangements.

Steven was a 1977 graduate of the University of Notre Dame and was employed as a foreman at Formco, Inc. of Elkhart. The majority of his free time was spent volunteering at the Elkhart Salvation Army, where he spent countless hours helping those in need. He was also an avid bicyclist, and could often be seen pedaling all over town, as well as being a stock market enthusiast. He maintained several investments
