John Lee Bullard, Jr., 71, of Madison, Florida passed away Tuesday October 20, 2020 at South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta, Georgia. John was born August 11, 1949 to John Lee Bullard, Sr. and Lula Newsome Bullard in Madison, Florida. He remained a lifelong resident of Madison where, once retiring from Florida Power Corporation after 37 years of service, he enjoyed (among other activities) spending time as “The Voice of the Cowboys” and was proud to be named Madison County Citizen of the Year in 2019. He was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years Ginger Adams Bullard and is survived by his three children: John Bullard III (Cathy), Valerie Bass (Grant), and Brooke Hackle (Shannon) and three grandchildren: Amber Bass, Riley Bass, and Paxton Hackle. In addition to his family, he touched many, many lives in his community and will be missed by them all. Visitation will be Friday, October 23, 2020 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Beggs Funeral Home in Madison. Funeral services will be held Saturday October 24 at 3:00 PM at Beggs Funeral Home followed by interment at Pine Grove Missionary Baptist Church cemetery.
