Kay was a 36 year member of Newburgh United Methodist Church. She was active with Pairs and Spares Sunday School class for many years, and at one time ran the church's Food Pantry and Clothes Closet. Kay and Dan loved traveling and visited 39 countries together. She also enjoyed spending winters at their home in Ft. Myers, FL. Her greatest joy was being with her family and especially her grandchildren.
Kay is survived by her husband of 50 years, Daniel Aiken; daughter, Stacy (Jason) Laughton and their children, McKenna Andreas and Bresden Laughton, of Newburgh; son, Christopher Aiken and his daughter, Keili, of Evansville; sister, Anne Hunsinger of Corning, New York.
In addition to her parents, Kay was preceded in death by her brother, Jerry Beckstrom.
Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, October 22, 2020 Visitation will continue from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Friday, October 23, 2020 Funeral service will begin at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Craig Duke officiating.
