Wade Leon Thomas, Sr., 71, of Danville, passed away, October 18, 2020 at the Hospice of Rockingham County, Reidsville, NC. Born April 3, 1949 in Pittsylvania County, VA, he was the son of Raymond Thomas and Mattie McLaughlin Thomas. He was married to the late Stephanie Stone Thomas. He was a Veteran of the U S Army.
Survivors include a daughter, Stacey Thomas; a son, Wade Thomas, Jr. (Shaleta); five grandchildren; four sisters, Audrey Green, Bernice Watson, Barbara Jeffries and Jeanette Thomas; two brothers, Raymond James Thomas and Eugene Thomas. He was also predeceased by four sisters, Jane Thomas, Jealizer Fitzgerald, Dorothy Yates and Virginia McCain; a brother, Lawrence Thomas.
Interment will be in Danville Memorial Gardens.
