Betty Lou Power, was born January 1, 1925 to Earnest & Lucretia Perkins in Pineville, MO and went to be with the Lord on April 12, 2019 in Chandler, AZ. As a child, Betty and her parents moved to Stark, KS, where her brother John was born and, later, they all moved to Wilcox, AZ, where her father bought a barber shop and her sister Helen was born. She met her future husband, Ivan C. Power on a blind date in Phoenix. They were married in Wilcox in August of 1947.

Betty is proceeded in death by her parents, her husband Ivan, and her brother John. She is survived by her sister Helen Wilkes, sons, Kelly (along with his wife Lisa, and their 3 daughters, Lauren [great-granddaughter Madelyn], Megan and Madison) & Todd (and his wife Krinda), her stepdaughter Terry Farnsworth (and her husband Evans and their children, Robyn, Kipp, Kris, Mia, Kari, Tara and Michael [deceased]) and stepson Lance Power (and his wife Lisa and their children, Tauna, Tara, Bryan, Matthew and Jason) in addition to many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

There are not enough words to describe what a wonderful woman Betty was. She loved playing cards, cooking, baking, sewing, square-dancing, and traveling the world. She had some of the best one-liners around and many memorable “Bettyisms”. We will all miss her!

The visitation will be Wednesday, April 17th, 5:00-6:00pm with service to follow at: Praise and Worship Center 2551 N. Arizona Ave Chandler, AZ 85225
