Linda Kay Misel Adkins
July 26, 1947 - October 17, 2020

Linda Kay Misel Adkins, age 73 formerly of Cambridge, passed away Saturday, October 17, 2020 at Soin Medical Center in Beavercreek Ohio.

She was born on July 26, 1947 in Cambridge, oldest daughter of the late Oliver William Misel and Mary Elizabeth (Sarchet) Misel.

Linda received her nursing degree from Ohio State and joined the U.S. Air Force and was stationed in Mississippi, Okinawa, Nebraska, California and Montana. She received her masters degree from the University of Montana while serving and retired after 20 years as a Lieutenant Colonel and a pediatric nurse practitioner. Linda taught nursing at Montana State University Northern and had also been a substitute teacher at Cambridge area schools. She received a degree from Belmont Tech in Building Preservation / Restoration before returning to Cambridge and becoming very involved with many area organizations.

She was an active member of the Ninth Street United Methodist Church, National Cambridge Collectors, Cambridge Main Street, Dickens Victorian Village, Guernsey County Historical Society, Guernsey County Genealogical Society and save the Gross Mansion campaign, just to name a few.

She is survived by: a son Casey William Adkins (Sarina Sawyer) of Atlanta, GA.; two sisters, Nancy E. Misel of Beavercreek, OH; Janet S. Colyer of Huber Heights, OH.; many cousins including Cash (Cheri) Misel III and Penny Paoliello; her Uncle Cash Misel Jr. and her Aunt Lorelle Sarchet and many nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will take place on Friday, October 23rd at 1 pm at Northwood Cemetery with Pastor Nancy Parsons officiating. Military Graveside Rites will be conducted by the Guernsey County Veterans Council.
