Sylvia Therese was the daughter of Laurence and Anna (Ruz) Janowski. She was raised and educated in Chicago and graduated from Kelly High School, Class of 1941.
She worked as a school administrative assistant for 30 years and then retired to Bass Lake, Indiana. In her free time she enjoyed flower gardening, cooking and reading. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Laurence and Anna; her husband, Arthur T. Adams and her siblings, William Janowski, Adeline Dudek and Helen Janowski.
