George Coburn Farmer was the only son and only child of Clyde Creighton Farmer (1870-1945) and his wife Maude Alice (Casady) Farmer (1872-1950).
George was married twice (1st) to Eunice Jean Kapphan on February 28, 1924 with whom he had two children son George Farmer, Jr. (b. 1930) and daughter Marjory (Farmer) Hobai (b. 1927). The marriage between George and Eunice ended in divorce in 1941.
George married (2nd) to Evelyn (Rose) Tarr, in 1950, who had also been previously married. She outlived George, living to be 97.
