She leaves her husband Wesley, of 63 years; her two sons Ronald and wife MaryJo of Tuscon, AZ; Robert (Diane) of Marlboro, MA; her three daughters, Janis Harman and husband Dan of Spokane, WA, Joyce Gee of Northborough MA, and Carolyn Bates (formerly Urrutia) of S.San Francisco, CA; also including: grandchildren, great grandchildren, sisters-in-law Jean Bates of CN and Dorothy Hyde of RI, eight nephews, four nieces and their children. Her brother Colin, sister Majel (Burlingame), brother-in-law, Stanley Bates and son-in-law Kymond Gee preceded her in death.
Cynthia graduated from URI with a degree in Early Education. Her joys were being with her family, The Gospel of Jesus Christ, reading, genealogy, meeting people, cooking, baking pies, gardening, horses, her pets including feisty Wrigley, scrapbooking, following all the local sports teams, and staying current with the recent 'Tea Party'.
Cynthia's Memorial Service will be held on Friday, April 29th at the Cultural Hall and Chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 240 Hemenway St. Marlboro. Visiting will be from 4 - 6 pm, the Memorial Service from 6-7pm, and Refreshments from 7-8pm. On Saturday, the 29Th there will be a private Burial and Grave Dedication at the Howard Street Cemetery in Northborough. "Lord be with us 'til we meet again".
