Harold “Cowboy” James Watson Sr., 66, of Clarksburg, passed away on Sunday, October 18, 2020 at Pierpont Center.
He was born January 17, 1954, in Clarksburg, son of the late Howard Sherman and Elizabeth Snyder Watson.
Cowboy worked at Forco Glass later became AFG for over eighteen years. He liked to social drink and watch football, especially the Georgia Bulldogs. He enjoyed shiny shoes and collecting marbles. Cowboy would never say bye, just so long.
Cowboy is survived by two children, Tonquilla A Watson and Harold J Watson Jr.; one grandson, he called little man and loved spending time with, Duane Talkington; siblings, Larry Watson, his twin sister, Mary Lawrence, Norma Jean Swiger, Howard "Junior" Watson and his wife, Sandra Sue, Elizabeth “Betty” Coffman and Bobby Watson and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Cowboy was preceded in death by siblings, twins, Connie Watson and Donnie Watson, Shirley Ann Watson, Sharon Murphy, James Douglas Watson, David Glen Watson and one infant son and two grandchildren, Savannah Marie Pearl Garrett and Joshua Lee Garrett, II.
Davis Funeral Home and Onsite Crematory is handling the cremation arrangements for the Watson Family.
