Laura Frances Pruitt Goodwin, 78, of Dyersburg, TN, passed away on Saturday, October 17, 2020 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

Laura was born on April 17, 1942, in Dyersburg, TN, to the late Obie and Addie Moore Pruitt. She was the owner of Fine Print Screen Printing and was a member of West Dyersburg Church of Christ. She enjoyed playing the piano and going to Bluegrass Festivals. Laura was a talented seamstress and was also an avid reader.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, October 22, 2020 in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.

Survivors include her two daughters, Mitzi Stover (Tim) of Collierville, TN and Susan Hormberg (Bo) of Germantown, TN; a son, Charles David Goodwin, Jr. of Dyersburg, TN; two sisters, Faye Johnston and Helen Wiggins, both of Dyersburg, TN; a brother-in-law, Bobby Goodwin of Dyersburg, TN; and four grandchildren, Cody Stover, Caitlyn Stover, Rachel Hormberg and Drew Hormberg.

In addition to her parents, Laura was preceded in death by her husband, Charles David Goodwin, Sr.; and a sister, Shirley Atchison.

Pallbearers will be Tim Stover, Bo Hormberg, Cody Stover, Drew Hormberg, John Richards and Robby Richards.
