Minnie Serena Tidwell, 85, Nixa, passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2002 in Ozark Riverview Manor. She was born July 27, 1916 in Protem to Jim and Adeline (Rhoades) Rozell. On May 26, 1933, she was united in marriage to Everett Welcome Tidwell. Together, they farmed and made a home in the Bradleyville community for the family they loved. Mrs. Tidwell later worked at Hagale Industries and continued to sew for those she loved. She accepted the Lord in 1939 and has served him since that time. She most recently attended Calvary Baptist Church. Her husband preceded her in death in 196. She was also preceded in death by five brothers, Toney, Loy, John, Jess and Norm; a sister Eacie Sharp, and her parents. Survivors include; three children and their spouses, Lavonda and Winford Brashers, Wyandotte, Okla., Lavon and E. C. Hensley, Nixa and Larry and Sue Ann Tidwell, Ozark; five grandchildren, Vicky, Keith, Bruce, Janet and Megan; five great grandchildren; nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Adams Funeral Home, Nixa with Pastor Joe Fahl and Pastor terry Kindrick officiating. Burial will follow in Wolf Cemetery, Protem. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today in the funeral home.
