Shelby Jean Smith, age 79 of Lebanon, passed away Monday October 19, 2020, at Spring View Hospital. She was born June 12, 1941 in Lebanon. She was retired from GE in Louisville.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Stanley Bright and Nora Rakes; 3 brothers, Bobby Bright, Dan Bright, and Seldon Bright; 4 sisters, Allene Roberts, Mary Rita Bright, Rosie Russell, and Lillian Tucker.
She is survived by her son, Jack Lee Baldwin of Rockland, Maine; step-daughter, Kelly Cowley of Louisville, KY; brothers, Gerald (Bernadette) Bright of Bradfordsville, KY, and Porter Bright of Bradfordsville, KY; sisters, Anna Bright of Campbellsville, KY, and Shirley Osborne of Lebanon, KY; and grandchildren, Rachel and Witney Cowley, Chrissy Annibika, and James Masurra.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday October 23, 2020 at Bosley Funeral Home with Bro. John Simpson officiating. Interment will follow in Old Liberty Cemetery.
