Francis G. Braden, 70, of Forsyth died Monday, June 25 in Ozark Nursing and Care Center in Ozark.
He was born April 1, 1931 in Rueter to Loyd and Eltie (Roberts) Braden. Francis entered the Army at the age of 21 and served from 1952-1954 in the Korean War. He married Jeanette McCall on July 8, 1954 in Taneyville. He was a lifetime resident of Taney County and a member of the Church of Christ, Forsyth. He worked as an electrician in the Branson area of many years.
Francis is survived by his wife, Jeanette, of the home; one daughter, Jeanie Sue and husband William Deaton of Troy, OH; a step-father-in-law, Bill Skaggs of Forsyth; two grandchildren; three brothers, William Braden of Hood River, OR, Dale Braden of Kissee Mills, and Gary Braden of Rueter; and two sisters, Jessie David of Rueter and Shirley Sims of Taneyville. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services were held Thursday, June 28 at Forsyth Whelchel Chapel with Pastor Danny Fox officiating. Interment was at Wolf Cemetery in Protem
