Obituary of Tommy Ray Butler
Graveside funeral services for Mr. Tommy Ray Butler are scheduled for 10 AM Wednesday, October 21, 2020 in Mer Rouge Cemetery with Bro. Mike Goyne officiating.

Mr. Butler, passed away Sunday, October 18, 2020 at the age of sixty-nine. He was an avid hunter and fisherman who loved the outdoors and he was a member of the Parker Gary Hunting Club and the president of the Bonne Idee Breakfast Club.

He is survived by his wife of fifty-three years, Phyllis Butler; children, Kimberly Turner and husband Gary of Monroe, LA, Shannon Kellick and husband Randy of Mer Rouge, LA; sister, Vivian Eppinette and husband Lynn of Bastrop, LA; grandchildren, Jodi Bower and husband Chip, Shelby Turner, Clark Turner, Jack Henry Turner, Sterling Turner, Scout Turner, Hannah Grissom, Tanner Kellick; great grandchildren, Michael, Gabriel, Jackson, June, Walker, Lexie, Ledger, Ford; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and his lifelong friend, Johnny Walters.

Mr. Butler is preceded in death by his parents, Carlos and Lorine Butler; brother, Timothy Butler; and grandson, Brent Butler.

Serving the family as honorary pallbearers are Clark Turner, Jack Henry Turner, Sterling Turner, Chip Bower, Tanner Kellick, and Chance Eppinette.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, October 20, 2020 from 5 PM - 7 PM at Golden Funeral Home.
