MILWAUKEE — Debra Jane Hogan of Milwaukee, and formerly of La Crosse, died Tuesday, July 24, 2007, at Froedtert Medical Center, Milwaukee.
She was born in La Crosse on May 8, 1951, to Selmer "Sam" and Delma (Varnum) Hogan. Debra graduated from Milwaukee North High School and the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a master's degree in finance. She had worked for many years in Milwaukee as a business manager. Debra loved cooking and sewing.
She is survived by her mother, Delma of La Crosse; four brothers, Dr. James (Judith) of Lake Panasoffkee, Fla., Dennis (Linda) of Austin, Texas, David (Jewell) of Lawton, Okla., and William (Mary Jo) of Milwaukee; and six nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father in 2004.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today at Schumacher-Kish Funeral Home of La Crosse. Pastor Robert Wassermann will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, La Crosse. Friends may call from 1 p.m. until the time of services at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Salvation Army or to the donor's choice.
