Sylvia passed away at a Greenville nursing home.

Sylvia was born in Greenville, the daughter of William A. and Christine Ella (Barnes) Wilt.

She graduated from Greenville High School and the Maine School of Commerce, (Husson College), in Bangor.

She was employed for 10 years by Dun and Bradstreet.

She worked for Guilford Trust Co., and later Norstar Bank, now known as Bank of America, for 31 years, retiring in November of 1980.

Surviving are two sons, C. Donworth Jones and his wife, Virginia, of Mexico, and Ronald S. Jones and his wife, Sharon, of Greenville; four grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and special caregiver and friend for many years, Shelley Jardine.

She was predeceased by husbands, Charles Berry Jones and William (Bill) Clark Jr.; two brothers, Philip B. Wilt and E. Stanley Wilt; and lifelong friend Phyllis Rowe.

Clark - Sylvia C. (Wilt), 93, died Sept. 23, at a Greenville nursing home. Friends are invited to call from 1 to 2 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 26, at the Union Evangelical Church on Minden Street in Greenville, with a celebration of her life conducted at 2 p.m., with Dr. Robert Veon officiating. Burial will be in the Greenville Cemetery in the Wilt family plot. After the burial, friends and family are invited to share conversation and refreshments at 30 Shaw St., (Wilt House), Greenville. Those who wish to remember Sylvia in a special way may make gifts in her memory to the Pine Tree Hospice Program with funds directed to the Greenville Office located at Charles A. Dean Memorial Hospital and Nursing Home. Her grandson, David Jones, (son of Faye Bustard Nye and Ronald S. Jones), has had the gift of two kidney transplants. He has enjoyed over 20 years of life from these loving gifts. Sylvia wants to extend the invitation to everyone to consider and discuss with your loved ones becoming an organ and/or tissue donor.
