ca 1871-- migrated with cousin James C. Blaylock (son/Martha Todd Blaylock) to central TX and was documented in Lee County in 1871 by a the "1871 Lexington Letter" written by J. C. Blaylock to B. E. Spradley in Lowndes Co., AL. (See content below); Established a homestead at the Salty Commuity of southwest Milam Co.
1872-- met the Todd-Spradley Immigration Party of 1872 when they arrived in Texas and subsequently housed his mother (Eliz. Todd Grice) and orphaned neices (Thomas girls) in Williamson County; possibly gave housing to many of the migrants in the early months after their arrival in TX
1874 -- married Elizabeth Frazier (Fraisure?) in Milam/Williamson Co. TX
1872-1880 -- lived in/near the community of Salty in Milam Co.
1882 -- dau Hattie born TX
1884 -- dau Sarah born TX
1887 -- dau Edna born TX
1900 -- (age 54) doc on census in Williamson Co., TX with wife and three teen daughters
1900-1910 -- moved to northwest TX, east of Vernon, to a community called Harrold (Wilbarger Co.), near the Red River.
1910 -- doc 18 Apr on federal census in Harrold, Wilbarger Co., TX as 63wm with wife and six-year-old grandson Floyd Pierce; doc as "unemployed." Perhaps moved to live near daughter Edna Jackson
1910 -- died 17 Nov in Wilbarger Co., TX; buried at Eastview Cemetery, Vernon; c1910 -- (age 64)
