Joyce Norker Bell, 89, passed away at 9:21 am on Saturday, October 17, 2020 at her residence. Joyce was born in Liverpool, England on March 20, 1931 the daughter of Harold and Rebecca (Broadhurst) Norker. She married Gene Bell on May 23, 1953 and he preceded her in death on January 8, 1998.

Joyce had worked as a travel agent for Williams Travel Agency and was a member of the First Church of God. She was also a member of the Y’s Men Club and enjoyed knitting, reading, word searches, shopping and watching BBC channels. Most importantly though, she loved her family and grandchildren. Joyce was also very proud of the fact she got her US citizenship in 1984.

Survivors include her daughters, Kym Bell, Cheryl Sturgeon, and Tammy Teising and her husband Mark all of Vincennes; brother, Harold Norker and his wife Margie of Liverpool, England; her grandchildren, Stacey N. Harris and her husband Kevin, Drew Wonning and his wife Rebecca, Jordan Wonning and his wife Laura, Sydney Bell Wonning; her great grandchildren, Ava and Hayden Clark, Colton Wonning, Kali Jo Wonning, Peyton Setser, Avery Wonning, Maverick Wonning; and nieces, Jan Thompson and her husband Ian and Gil Webster and her husband Neil. Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Gene Bell, and a son Colin Eugene Bell.

Friends may visit with Joyce’s family from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm on Tuesday, October 20, 2020 at Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home, 524 Broadway, Vincennes. A graveside service will be held at 1:30 pm on Tuesday at Upper Indiana Presbyterian Cemetery with Pastor Fred Nocus officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to First Church of God or the National Alzheimer’s
