Cornelius Ryan, aged 82, died at his farm home on Monday after an illness of several months. Mr. Ryan was a former resident of Elizabethtown, but for the past 55 years had been a highly respected resident of Westport. He was born in Elizabethtown, the son of John and Mary (Harrigan) Ryan. A true friend and neighbor and a good father has gone to his reward. Mr. Ryan is survied by one son, John A. Ryan of Westport, three daughters, Mrs. Mary Pattno of SuSable Forks, Mrs. John Lyman of New York and Mis Kathryn of Mechanicville; one brother, M. Ryan of Westport and three sisters; Mrs. Kate McHale of St. Paul, Minn. , Mrs. Nellie Csrr of Seattle, Washington and Mrs. Mary Murphy of Saranac also survive.
