Mrs. Lambert Dies Rites At Plainfield
Funeral services were Saturday at the Plainfield Hall-Fisher funeral home for Mrs. Ada Mae Lambert, who died Thursday at her home in Clayton.
Rev. Lewis Gray was in charge of service with burial in Clayton cemetery.
She was born Oct. 25, 1884 in the Hazelwood area the daughter of George W. and Ella Hammonds Bryant. She was formerly employed by Gates manufacturing company.
She had done practical nursing in the Clayton area and had resided in Hendricks County since1916. She was a member of Clayton Church, Clayton Rebekah lodge, and the West Liberty home ??? Club. She was active in the Democrat Party and a precinct committeewomen for 42 years.
Survivors include a son Emory ( Whistle ) Lambert, Clayton a brother, Ernest Bryant, Clayton half-sister, Mrs. Fred Green two grandson, Richard Lambert, Danville, and William Fisher, Lubbock, Texas and five great grandchildren
