Funeral services for Whitney J Miller, 69, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan 16 in Johnson Funeral Home Deacon George Carr will officiare, Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. Mr. Miller died at 5:45 a.m. Friday, Jan 14, 2000 in a Lake Charles Care Center.
He was narive of Grand Chenier and had lived in Lake Charles for 43 years. He was a retired pipeline repairman with Crain Brothers and Citgo. He was an Army Veteran of the Korean War.
Survivors include his wife, Belle Comeaux Miller of Lake Charles; one son, Eugene MIller of Lake Charles; two daughters, Lena Virge both of Lake Charles; one stepson, Floyd Augustine of Lake Charles, one stepdaughter, Lillie Lambert of Ragley; two brothers, Hubert Miller of Grand Chenier and Rudolph Miller of Palmetto, Ga.; two sisters, Veda Bult of Lake Charles and Bernice Clark of Grand Chenier; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
