Linda Marie Hulett, 51, Ottawa, passed away Saturday, Sept. 8, 2007, at the Midland Hospice House in Topeka after suffering from cancer since May 2007.

Linda was born Sept. 6, 1956, in Iola to Glenn and Florence Maley.

Linda is survived by her three sons, Jason Maley, Iola, and Drew Hulett and Blake Hulett, both of Ottawa; and her daughter, Lisa Hulett, Ottawa. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Brooke, Torrie, Briley, Taylen Maley and Jackson Hulett.

Linda was a member of the Kaweah Indian Nation, so was kind of an eccentric woman. She was very artistic with everything she did. She loved music, drawing, carving, engraving and antiques just to mention a few. She also bred and raised rat terriers. Nutty was one of her pride and joy. Mostly though, mom loved family. She would say, "Together we stand and divided we fall." We kids knew mom for who she was, what she was about and the the things she did. Also, that she loved each of us so very much. There is no loss in our lives so great, and she is always missed.
