Kathryn Diane DeBorde Anderson of Kemp, passed away peacefully on September 19, 2020 at home. Kathy was born November 5, 1954 in Houston, Texas. She was preceded in death by her: father Kenneth DeBorde; mother Frances VanWinkle; other mother Jeraldine Cobb; brothers: Mike DeBorde; Johnnie DeBorde; Richard DeBorde; Joel Cohn and sister Robin Junell. Kathy had dedicated her life to helping others. She was a retired nurse of 40 years. Working with Region 10 as a Health Service Specialist for Headstart, the school nurse for Kemp ISD, the Kaufman County Jail for a short period of time as well as several nursing homes in Kaufman and Henderson Counties. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchild. She enjoyed life and being around family and friends as much as possible and just having a good time. She was an avid collector of all things Coca Cola. Kathy enjoyed: cross stitch; making jewelry; reading and listening to Pastor Charles Stanley. One last but not least thing about Kathy, you always knew where you stood with her as she was not afraid to share her opinion with you. She is survived by her: sister Joyce McClellin of Grand Prairie; brother Jimmy DeBorde of Murchison; daughter Melanie Weber and husband Todd of Kemp; grandchildren: Kalee Weber; Robert Richardson and Sierra Weber of Kemp; great grandson Jarren Richardson; numerous nieces; nephews; other loving family members and a host of friends.
