FROM LAWRENCE LOCOMOTIVE
Mrs. D.B. Shirley received word this week that Mrs. Tom Shirley had died very suddenly at their new home at Boise City, Idaho, on December 27th, last. She was sick but about two hours when the family was shocked to learn that her illness would likely prove fatal, although an attending physician had diagnosed her illness as not serious, when the attack first came on. The body was placed in a vault there and the place of burial will be decided on later. The deceased lady was well known throughout the vicinity and in the neighborhood south of Rosemont, where the family lived for years before moving to Lawrence thirty years ago. Some fifteen years ago the family took up residence at Minden, removing from there to Idaho early last fall. She will be remembered as a very kind and estimable lady.
