Daughter of Justice Edmund and Elizabeth (Wendell) Quincy. She was the wife of Governor John Hancock from 1775 to 1793 and Captain James Scott from 1796 to 1809.
She married John Hancock on August 28, 1775 at the Thaddeus Burr Mansion in Fairfield, Connecticut. She married James Scott on July 27, 1796 at the Brattle Square Church in Boston, Massachusetts.
Cause of death, at the age of 82, is listed as "old age."
