Louise was born February 22, 1930, to Willie and Ethel Gathright in Corsicana, Texas. From an early age, Louise loved family, loved having fun, and especially loved dancing the night away with her best friend, JoAnne Windom. She then met the love of her life, Vernon Hall, and was married soon thereafter on November 29, 1946.
Following the death of her husband of 29 years, Louise went to work for the U.S. Postal Service. During her 31 years of service, she received numerous awards and accolades for her outstanding and dedicated work. During her spare time, she loved painting, sewing, and pretty much all things artistic.
Louise led a life that was dedicated to her family. She raised three beautiful children who then blessed her with grandchildren and even great-grandchildren that brightened her life. She was always the grandma that could be spotted in the bleachers at sports events cheering for her grandchildren after a long day at work. She always put her family first and selflessly provided for her children and grandchildren all her life.
Sarah was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and son, Johnny Hall who can finally give her a big hug again.
Survivors include: Daughters, Vickie McFarland (her loved and adored son-in-law, Don) and Toni Miles; grandchildren, Krissi McFarland (her favorite), Neal, Diana, Cortney, and Lindsey; and her eight great- grandchildren.
