Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Neal Funeral Home in Louisville. There will also be visitation from noon to 1 p.m. Saturday at Hoosier Prairie Baptist Church in rural Louisville. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the church. Burial with military rites will be in Hoosier Prairie Cemetery in rural
Louisville.
Mr. Cammon was born on December 7, 1914, in Clay County, the son of Hiram J. and Maude (Bible) Cammon. He married Stella Stanley on December 8, 1941. She survives.
He raised Hereford cattle. He was a member of Hoosier Prairie Baptist Church and of the fair board. He was also a board member of Clay Electric. He was a World War II veteran.
Mr. Cammon is survived by his wife, Stella Cammon, of Louisville; three sons, George Cammon and his wife, Debbie, of Louisville, Ray Cammon and his wife, Linda, of El Paso, Texas, and H.C. Cammon, of Houston, Texas; three sisters, Josephine Goble, of Woodriver, Marie Fritchley, of Dundas, and Irene Diel, of Olney; and seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Henry and Loren, and two sisters, Ruth and Odette.
Memorials may be made to Hoosier Prairie Baptist Church.
