Nancy Adams Johnston, 78, of Quitman, Mississippi passed away on October 16, 2020 at her residence.
She was born on August 4, 1942 to Glynn and Margaret (Mashburn) Adams in Quitman, MS.
She was a longtime member of Montrose Baptist Church. She was a loving mother and "Mamaw" that was devoted to her family and enjoyed cooking and spending time playing cards and dominos with her sisters.
Nancy is survived by, Son, Dan (Gwen) Johnston, Daughter, Jan J. (Mark) Beavers, 3 Brothers, Bill Adams, Bobby Adams, and John Adams, 3 Sisters, Glenda Graham, Peggy Pearson, and Mary Sanders, Grandson, Brandon (Avarie) Johnston, Granddaughter, Ashlyn Johnston, Great-Grandchild, Baylor Johnston, 4 Special Caregivers, Miriam Gordon, Tess Turner, Pansy Pearson, and Tasha Smith.
Pallbearers are Adam Fleming, Greg Adams, Andrew Graham, Eddie Herrington, Josh Beckman, and Ryan Evans.
She was preceded in death by her Parents Glynn and Margaret Adams and her husband Jerry Johnston.
Graveside services will be held on Monday, October 19, 2020, 11:00 am at the Odd Fellows Cemetery, with Rev. Matthew Johnson, Rev. Kevin McDonald, officiating.
Burial will take place in the Odd Fellows Cemetery.
