Gail Gibson, 77, of Tucker, GA died peacefully on Monday, February 24, 2020.

Gail is survived by her son David Gibson (wife, Melissa) and daughter Paula Gibson Thompson (husband, Curtis); Grandchildren; Brandon Lawson (wife, Kenna), Olivia Grimsley, Joseph Gibson, and Joshua Gibson; her Great Grandchildren; Harper Lawson and Boone Lawson; her sister; Mary Joyce Grissom and her brothers; Gerald Vickers and Jack Robert Vickers. She is preceded in death by her husband; Joe Gibson and parents; Jack and Mary Vickers.

Gail was known as “Mema” to her family. She loved to listen to others and encourage them. She always put her family and friends needs before her own. Gail’s joy was to help her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mema loved spending time with her family. Gail and her husband Joe had a loving relationship over 56 years and always showed their affection of each other by holding hands, dancing together and being best friends. They raised their children and lived in the same home since 1965. Gail was a longtime member of Lawrenceville Road United Methodist Church. She enjoyed volunteering and serving in many roles at the church. Gail loved Jesus. She was an example of how to live joyous and to have a positive outlook on life. Gail was loved by all. Her smile warmed the room and was radiant. People always expressed that she was a sweet and a caring lady. Gail was a member of the same Bridge Club for about fifty years where she created special friendships. She will be greatly missed.
