JOHN J. ANASTOFF Merrillville, Indiana John J. Anastoff, age 80, of Merrillville, passed away on Tuesday, April 21, 2009. John was a retired Gary Firefighter and worked as a Security Guard at the Southlake Chase Bank. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army World War II. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen E. Anastoff; brother, George P. Anastoff; and sister, Ruby. He is survived by his son, Keith J. Anastoff, Sr. of Merrillville; daughters, Sandra K. Anastoff of Schererville; grandson, Keith J. Anastoff, Jr.; and granddaughter, Shea L. Graper; and brother, Vasil Evanoff. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at Burns Funeral Home, 10101 Broadway, Crown Point, IN with Father Brian Chadwick officiating.
