Jimmie P. Hunt Martin, 76 years of age, departed this life peacefully at her home south of Fountain City, Indiana on Friday, October 16.
Jimmie was born in Randolph County, Indiana on July 15th, 1944, daughter of the late James Wilkes "Bud" and Mary Lee McKinney Hunt. She married John Burgess Martin II 60 years ago on October 8th, 1960. They were blessed with two children as they made a life together on the family farm.
Jimmie was survived by her loving husband, John B. Martin II; one daughter, Debbie (and Chuck) Crim; one son, John B. III (and Linda) Martin; two grandchildren, Stephen Crim and Amanda (and T.J,) Snyder; three sisters, Gloria Hill, Sue Funk, and Wilma Kleman; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends who mourn her passing.
Jimmie was preceded in death by her parents, James Wilkes "Bud" Hunt, who departed this life on May 19th, 1987 and Mary Lee Hunt, who departed this life on October 19th, 2007; and one grandson, Jesse Martin, who departed this life on October 29th, 2018.
At Jimmie requested the family has chosen cremation as final disposition with no services held.
The Smith-McQuiston & Webster Funeral Home in Fountain City, Indiana was in charge of the arrangements for Jimmie.
